How to choose a Networking Marketing company
Before I start I want to make some disclosures. Yes, I am a part of network marketing company but I am not here to promote that. My blog is just a tool to spread correct information about a brilliant business model. The below are my experiences being in the business.
Before we decide to choose a networking marketing company I feel it imp to know why a network marketing company apart from the money part.
1) Their entry fee to start a business is pretty low & many companies do give you a money back guarantee for a brief period of time.
2) They do not discriminate based upon religion, caste creed or sex. Anyone with dream and open mind is welcome to build the business.
3) They have their own training schedules and sessions to teach people how to succeed in life and business.
I have not listed the complete list but the most important ones.
Now how do we choose a network marketing company to work with?
Normally people would invariably look at the amount of money they will make and how fast. But that is the shallowest form of selection. Such criteria will not be good for you and the company both. Due to this reason we see people hopping from one company to another just like in job. This reduces their credibility in the eyes of their team and also their customers.
Then comes the question we are coming into the business to make money right.
There can be many answers to this question – my opinion we are not here to make money but we are here to create wealth. Please do understand the difference between money and wealth. (Will definitely write about it more for everyone’s benefit) Just for now please consider that wealth is measured in time and not money.
We are still stuck with our basic question:
How to choose a network marketing company?
1) Association: This was one of the biggest reasons why I joined. I just loved the people whose team I was going to be part of. I could relate to each and every one in the team a lot. We were from similar family backgrounds, all staying away from home to earn, and no one from a business background. Each and everyone always ready to help you with the business as well as personal life & problems.
The groups I work with have people from the finest institutes in world – IIT Delhi, IIT KGP, IIM Ahmedabad and so on. These qualifications only make these people worth talking to and if they are doing something then I guess I should be open enough to listen if not join. One key to judge the association is relatability. On hind sight if you see we always connect more with people whom we can relate with more. Always judge the association based on your relatability with the people already in the business.
2) Training: This is one of the most important part any Network marketing business. We are not business men and do not know anything about building a business. These trainings are compulsory to build a huge and successful business. The quality of training imparted is good judge of the quality of the business. From personal experience I find the training I get is better than any B-school right now. Every B-school teaches you to be a Manager and not an entrepreneur. And rightly so how can a prof who has not done much business can teach anyone to business. No offense meant to any B-school grads reading this but it is a fact. (Even I have done my masters from a top 10 b school in India). The best part of training is that they teach you success principles which can be applied anywhere in your life even in your job. So make sure that the training program does not revolve around only the business and products but also it should be helpful in transforming you into a better human being.
These were my main reasons for joining the business. But these reasons can change depending upon the individual and his inclination.
Please go through the book called “Business School for people who like helping people” by Robert Kiyosaki. Robert in this book talks about network marketing business and why an average person should build it in a very detailed manner. It also elucidates how the business will help and satisfy your need for a better tomorrow.
Just a word of caution: Many times when we have to decide upon a new thing we take talk to our friends, parents etc. But as an educated person at least make sure that the person from whom you are taking the advice knows about the subject. If not the whole purpose of taking advice is void. Take a simple example : You never ask your parents which one of the girls in your should be your girlfriend? You never ask your parents before you start drinking or smoking. Will you take swimming lessons from a friend who does not know swimming? Can your friend who is making the same amount money as you are, teach you to make double the money.
The answer is No.
Please do take an informed decision, it could change your life.
